This Privacy Policy explains how START Warsaw ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website at www.startwarsaw.org or interact with our recruitment process. We are committed to protecting your privacy inaccordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Polish dataprotection law.

a) Recruitment application
When you submit an application via our recruitment form hosted at startwarsaw.notion.site, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Field of study
- Gender
- Nationality
- Languages spoken
- LinkedIn profile URL and other links you choose to share
Purpose: To evaluate your application andmanage the recruitment process.
Legal basis: Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given at thetime of submission. You may also separately consent to: (i) receiving emailupdates about START Warsaw's activities and events; and (ii) having yourprofile shared with selected partner organisations (e.g. prestigious startupprogrammes, accelerators, or funding bodies) to identify relevant opportunitiesfor you. Each consent is optional and independent.
Retention: Until you withdraw your consent, or until wedetermine the data is no longer needed for recruitment purposes, whichevercomes first.
Third-party processor: Applicationdata is collected and stored via Notion (Notion Labs, Inc.). Notion's dataprocessing practices are described in Notion'sPrivacy Policy.
b) Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. This may involve the collection of:
- IP address (anonymised)
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. The data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of data protection.
Purpose: To improve the performance and content of our website.

Retention: Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default in Google Analytics.
